The Review

Nitin-Ileana’s Rechipo is a complete disappointment. From the story to technical values the film disappoints in every department. Nitin’s energy levels and Ileana are only saving graces. The songs are not well shot. The comedy is also big disappointment. The choreography and action sequences stand out here and there. The other major weakness is the boring cinematography and the editing. It’s a routine commercial cinema. But the problem is that all commercial elements are not handled properly. They just bring boredom. The film starts with an okay note but within few minutes the director looses the grip. Overall Rechipo is another disappointment from Nitin, who has been trying his best for a success.

Synopsis

Orphan Siva (Nitin)’s main work is stealing from the rich and giving it to poor and need people. Shiva steals 500 crore from the house of home minister (Ahuthi Prasad). But the money belongs to Dubai based gangster. Meanwhile Shiva falls in love with Krishnaveni (Ileana), daughter of the home minister. When she gets to know that Shiva is the thief and he has stolen money from her house, she moves away from him to Dubai. Gangster kidnaps her in Dubai and asks the home minister to return his money beside the release four of his men who are in jail. The home minister sends Shiva to Dubai with a mission to get his daughter back. How Shiva managed to do it is all about the rest of the story.

Artistic Performances

Nithin has developed good look. His macho look is stunning and his dances are superb. He justified his character. The highlight is the energy levels in his dances and action sequences. He portrayed the emotions well but dialogues diction must have been improved little bit. Ileana is also stunning with the weight she added to her slim body. She justified her role. Among the comedians Sunil and MS Nayanayana tried their best to make the audience laugh. Ahuthi Prasad as home minister and Bhanu Chander as police commissioner, who supports hero justified their roles. All others justified their roles.

Technical Performances

Paruchuri Murali’s story is just okay. It has typical commercial plot. But he failed in the narration and characterizations. The characterizations are not convincing. The narration is also not convincing. His execution of the scenes is okay but he lost the grip in the narration and pacing. All other departments are just okay. Dialogues by Ramesh – Gopi are just ordinary. The punch is missing. Mani Sharma’ songs are okay. But the rerecording work is disturbing. Cinematography by Surender Reddy and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao are also major setbacks. All other departments justified their roles.
